Frozen nut butter banana pops
These frozen treats are a win with the kids. They have no added sugars and they have plenty of healthy fat and protein. This is a guilt-free treat for you or your little one. The recipe can be changed and different kinds of nut butter can be substituted for what you prefer. I like to use a combo of sunflower butter, nutso almond butter and a scoop of peanut. I also add some additions to this recipe when I have them on hand like a scoop of green powder or a mushroom blend for immunity.

Step 1& 2
- put all ingredients except toppings into a double boiler and melt.
- Peel bananas and cut in 1/2- then slide a popsicle stick into the depth you think best for holding.
3. once melted you can begin to cover the bananas. the mixture is thick so I use a spoon or spatula to help paste it on the bananas. Once fully covered place on a plate and top with your toppings of choice. You will want to have a plate in the freezer ready so as soon as the toppings are on the banana you will place in the freezer. You will do one at a time and get them into the freezer quickly. It will take about 2 hours to fully freeze. Once they are all ready you can take off the plate and transfer to a ziplock bag or some storage container of your choice. We usually eat them before they can go bad so I don’t even know how long they will last.
Enjoy this frozen treat!
