Listen to your body! If something feels off, get multiple perspectives. After a month of postpartum, something felt off to me, as if I had a uterine prolapse maybe, but my doctor just kept saying I was all healed up. I ended up working with a woman that offered holistic pelvic care and she discovered that my uterus had been pushed out of place. After a few visits with her, my uterus was able to go back to its original placement. The shift was monumental. Also, make sure to do follow up blood checks on yourself! I didn’t do any checks for me during my PP time and now 17 months later and I’m just realizing that I have very LOW iron levels and a hypothyroid, both probably from the impact that being pregnant and breastfeeding had on my body. And in hindsight, I probably knew something was off, I was just focusing a lot of my attention and energy to Lazulynne. So, tune in and listen to yourself mamas!
